Perirectal abscess?: This sounds like more than pimples, especially if the bumps were larger than normal pimples. You might have a peri-rectal abcess -- not necessarily serious, but you should see a doctor to sort it out and determine if you need an antibiotic or perhaps a minor surgical procedures to drain pus.
