2 question. 1) the paleo diet says no beans/legumes. why? & 2) if i abandon beans how do i get 20-25g per day of soluable fiber?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Legumes are good: Hi. Beans/legumes are a very healthy diet component. The paleo diet is a fad, and no one says it's good for you (although there are no doubt components of it that are). It's ridiculous to eliminate beans/legumes from the diet, however, just to comply with the paleo fad. Eat healthily, exercise regularly, and don't smoke. Good luck!
