soluble fiber or insoluble fiber? when is the best time of day to eat that to prevent constipation and gas throughout the day?

Insoluble fiber: Produces more stool.Soluble fiber helps reduce cholesterol. So both are beneficial. Time of day is irrelevant but best to spread out thru the waking hours. More important to prevent bloating, gas and constipation is adequate fluids: 80-100 oz of caffeine free/alcohol free fluids is recommended.
