Heart rate: There are many possible causes of elevated heart rate upon standing, including low blood volume, relative dehydration, medication side effects , neurological and endocrine disorders. Dehydration: when you heart rate goes up by changing position from sitting to standing,dehydration is the main reason. drink a lot of water and cut down on beer,soda,energy drinks,and caffeniated baverages. if keep persisting see your doctor. please.
