Common with PCOS: With PCOS there is an imbalance between Estrogen and Progesterone. This leads to the menstrual irregularity. Usually this is controlled with one of the many variety of birth control methods. Schedule a visit with an Obgyn for an exam, testing and discuss your options for menstrual cycle control.
