Lack of or irregular ovulation can result in this kind of bleeding, and after three months without bleeding persistent bleeding for a month is not that unusual. Both PCOS and your recent ectopic could disrupt your ovulation. If the bleeding continues you should see your doctor for an evaluation and to discuss management options.
