A member asked:

Can interstitial cystitis cause burning when urinating and burning in urethra?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Urethral burning: You may have interstitial cystitis (IC). This condition can produce horrible pain in the bladder and urethra. It is associated with a diet heavy in acidic foods such as tomatoes/salsa as well as alcohol and caffiene. See your doctor. IC can be difficult to treat.
