How can i get pain medication? i don't have a doctor. and the emergency room only gives enough for like 2 days

Must find a doctor: Prescription pain medications require a doctor. If it is a chronic pain, the ER is not the place to go, because the ER cannot follow-up and take care of the cause of the pain. That means one must find a doctor. If no insurance, go online to look at Obamacare programs. Otherwise, every county has low-cost clinics (sometimes free), some run by the Health Dept, others by medical schools or charities.

PM&R: A physiatrist (a physician who specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation) is always my recommendation... As they have the ability to craft a physical therapy plan and goals as well as prescribe any medicine that might be appropriate to support your recovery. Hope that helps!
