Depends: It depends on associated symptoms ie pain, light sensitivity, or foreign body sensation. It could be from sinuses if you have sinus problem. It could be from dry eyes. it's hard to advice without examination and further knowledge of your problem. You can put artificial tear drops and heat pack over your eye to see if it will help. if it did not help then please consult an ophthalmologist.
