I have to have a hida scan with cck and can't take my meds. would weed affect the test? i don't smoke but i am afraid of the pain and nausea w/o meds.

Probably not, but…: The whole point of the test is to measure how well your gallbladder works when you are not on any medications or other substances. Because you don't know the effects of marihuana on your gallbladder, I would try to avoid this before the test so that you don't mess up the results of the HIDA scan. If you don't smoke marijuana now, this would not be a good time to start. Good luck.
