why/how would a minor panic attack cause a head/neck muscle spasm?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Marc Zimmermann

Possibly: Anxiety often causes the tensing or spasming of muscles, particularly in the neck. If this continues or is particularly annoying, talk to your doctor of chiropractor about it.
