Could be many things: The more important question is whether you are at risk of HIV infection. HIV risk comes from sharing needles, sex without a protective barrier, or other exposure to blood or body fluids. HIV can present with muscle aches. Usually there is also fever. But muscle soreness can be lots of different things. If you think you might have been exposed to HIV, go get tested.
