X-rays needed.: Certainly, your surgeon needs to be made aware of this incidence. X-rays are needed to determine if changes have occurred in the alignment and compression of the fixated area. The time frame between the date of surgery and incident as well as the shoe gear you were wearing at the time are important factors.
