Will see general deterioration, endocrine problems, cardiovascular, GI (diarrhea, gastropathy) pancreatic-biliary, neurologic, hematologic (coagulopathy; bone marrow abnormalities), lung (hepatopulmonary), kidney (hepatorenal), lymphatic, dermatologic, musculoskeletal, higher risks of cancer. Other testing & exam will detect these.

Yes, it is only when cirrhosis gets complicated with portal hypertension and splenomegaly when cell counts, including platelets may be affected. In early stages, cell counts remain normal.
