It depends: When you say it is hard to breathe do you mean your nose is clogged up and you have to cough a lot (which is normal with bronchitis-just cont meds and antibiotics). Or do you mean you have to really work hard to breathe in and out? Meaning are you out of breath just sitting alone and you have to really struggling to move air? If you are really struggling to breathe then head to the ER.
