A member asked:

My mom have hypertension n rheumatism, her doctor said not to eat meat and most of veggies. so what she should eat?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doctor is wrong: That advice makes no sense. There is no evidence that dietary restrictions are helpful other then salt restriction in people who have hypertension. Eating vegetables should be encouraged, not prohibited.
