A member asked:

I have what my gp said is xanthlasma but my cholesterol and lipids are normal? i'm 34 so what could it be, do i need my heart checked so worried

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Do nothing: Xanthelasmas are fat deposits under your skin that may or may not be related to a systemic increase in your blood fatty substances. If your lipid profile is normal and these lesions do not bother you cosmetically you can ignore them for now
