A member asked:

If sed rate is over 140 could it be a false positive? is a false positive common?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Terminology: Sed rate is an observation and is not diagnostic of any disease, so in that sense, it can not be false positive. High Sed rate is usually an indication of inflammation.
