Cholecystectomy: Most people after cholecystectomy lead a normal life. Once you have recovered from the surgery, there are usually no side effects of gallbladder removal. Some people do have loose stools afterwards, but this usually resolves after a few weeks to months. In addition, some people have difficulty eating fatty foods, but again this often improves with time. Good luck.
