Not as a stand alone: but as an adjunct 4 weight lifting for muscle mass. 50gms/day we need daily. You can increase it in diet or take a supplement. Do not over do it. Mote does not mean more muscle mass, but can effect your kidneys. On days i lift i take an additional 20gms. That's 4 an hour of heavy lifting with multiple reps. Can take some while U lift, but should complete it in 30-60min post workout.
