It depends: I am not sure what the size of your abscess was but it depends. But usually abscess holes should heal by closing off from the inside to out. A small abscess should take around a week to heal. If larger it can take much longer. You should ask your doctor regarding intercourse. But you should be able to shower right now without any problems.
