Go to ER: Complete hearing loss should be something you should take seriously. I would advise visiting the ER. I don't know how you unblocked and if you caused damage to your middle ear by doing so. A physician needs to do a history and a physical examination with a otoscope to determine what has happened.

Where is the block?: Ears canals can be blocked with an excess of wax - for management of this see http://patient.info/health/earwax-leaflet - if excess wax, soften then have suctioned or syringed. Ears can also be blocked in the middle ear - the sensation one gets changing altitude on a plane. Try http://patient.info/health/ears-and-flying for some simple solutions, Persistent hearing loss mandates Dr review.
