Sometimes: the best treatment for stretch marks is prevention. Hydration is the key, on a cellular level. Make sure you're getting at least 8-10 glasses of water daily. Apply a skin moisturizer that is rich in thinks like Shea or Cocoa butter, argan oil or almond oil. Once you have delivered, you can use a scar or stretch mark minimizing product to decrease the appearance of the stretch marks.

Probably will change: The stretch marks really don't go away, but they do tend to fade to a lighter color. It depends partly on how much weight you gained and how much you maintain after birth. A big factor in stretch marks though have to do with your collagen. Some people have very stretchy collagen and don't get stretch marks often and others just the opposite.
