Patience...: Patience is priceless. In order not have to repeat a "faint line" result, or a false negative test, one should test the week after missing a regular expected period, or test 3 weeks after sex (after conception). Positive results can happen sooner, but so can "faint lines", as well as false negatives (tested too early).
