Many things : It could be from the lungs, pleura (lining of the chest cavity), rib cage, gastrointestinal, even the heart. Its a non-specific symptoms and not consistent with any diagnosis in and by itself. A normal CBC is just one piece of the puzzle. If going on for a month, a doctor should evaluate this further.

Chest x ray: Start with simple chest x ray. Not sure what you mean by pinches. If nothing shows up then ct scan is warranted. This may be nothing more than musculoskeletal pain.
