Too long: I am sorry, you must feel uncomfortable. 3 weeks is a bit too long to say just a viral infection and I would try to have some stool studies done to see if you have an infection. If that is ruled out then other exams may need to be done. In the mean time, it cannot hurt to take some acidophilus tablets to help replace your gut with the "good bacteria". You can get these in any pharmacy.

Loose black stools should I be worried felt nauseated at first. Ate food and threw up and had abdomen pain. Took some milk of magnesium relief pain some what. But then i began to have dark loose stools. Seems lilke every thing i eat goes straight through
