stomach hurts left side especially if i lean back. was constipated. now i am having bm. stomach still hurts.could it be the diverticulitis flare?

Maybe: It could be. The only way to know for sure if pain inthat area is diverticulitis (which is inflammation) is to get a CT scan. See your doctor for an exam and s/he will help you try to decide if you need the CT scan.
