Magnesium pills: Unless you have chronic kidney disease, your magnesium (M) will not elevate to dangerously high levels with the amount of M you are taking. You M level has no effect on the BP lowering effects of cozaar (losartan) (C). If you have a low M, discuss with your physician (P) what the reason your M is low. You can also replace you M with foods, salmon and cashew nuts rather than taking M supplements.
