I take prilosec and zantac (ranitidine) for acid reflux problems, my symptoms r better(chest,etc)but when i take prilosec it seems it gets hard for me to swallow.

GERD: Gerd can cause difficulty swallowing, so it is difficult from your description to tell whether you have insufficiently treated Gerd or if you're having a problem with the Prilosec itself. Your best bet would be to see the doctor who recommended the Prilosec to determine if you should switch medicines or if you need further evaluation. You can use the Zantac (ranitidine) and/or Tums in the meantime. Good luck.
