Diagnosed with reflux 2 mo ago, no tests or exam. tried prilosec & zantac (ranitidine) & major diet changes, & heartburn started while on them.why do i feel worse?

Need to be seen: Maybe you do or maybe you don't have reflux. Can't tell what you have here. Need follow up with doc. You need an exam, and likely some testing, blood tests, maybe radiology/sono, and/or endoscopy to check on other possibilities, including gallbladder issues.

Bad GERD even on 300mg ranitidine, prilosec stopped working. Is gerd caused by stomach polyps and gasteroperesis? H pylori 2011. Will get worse?
Ate salad with grilled chicken, ranch dressing. Tomatoes on it too. Took tums. Still have heartburn. Take Prilosec morning and Zantac (ranitidine) at bedtime.
