Polycythemia vera(P.: P. Vera is a condition where the bone marrow makes too many red cells and the hemoglobin gets above 18-20 Gms (normal up to 16 grams). it is considered a Myeloproliferative disorder which is a type of low grade cancer although most people live for 10-20 years and some new treatments have recently become available.
