Big picture: Dr. Griggs may well be right. But examining diet is only one factor in trying to improve emotional well-being and performance in life. A person in an abusive relationship or dysfunctional home situation needs help escaping, rather than to be told to "eat right". Serious mental illness requires psychotherapy and/or medication; "diet cures" may be less helpful than just staying physically fit.
