Diversity: Cultural diversity ALWAYS has to be openly addressed in treatment. What is of utmost importance to mental health in one culture may bean very little in another, and the culturally sensitive psychotherapist will be trained in how to assess for those differences, what questions to ask, and will also have no problems with consulting as needed.
