How is a person diagnosed with strep throat?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Diagnosis of Strep: Strep infections in the throat are usually diagnosed by a rapid screening test performed in the office, or by a throat culture which is usually processed in a laboratory. Diagnosis by appearance alone is discouraged.
