What do they do at the doctor to diagnose if you have strep throat?

Exam + test: The general exam focused on the appearance of the throat & mouth lead to suspicion of the disorder. A swab of the throat can be submitted for a quick antigen test (minutes) or culture (24hrs) to verify the dx.
