Many reasons...: Esophogeal spasm, gastric and esophogeal reflux, musculoskeletal, costo chondritis, pulmonary embolus, pleurisy, pneumothorax, etc, etc. If you are having any shortness of breath, lightheadedness, or any other symptoms, or if this continues, go see a doctor.
