Oropharynx: Technically the uvula is part of the oropharynx. This is the part of the pharynx that is below the soft palate and above the epiglottis and is continuous with the mouth. This includes the uvula, posterior soft palate, tonsils, base of tongue, and the back of the throat or the pharynx.
