My fiance woke up this morning with rashes above his torso part of the body and bumps (hives?) along with bumps on his mouth and gums, what is it?

Urticaria: Hives on trunk along with mouth and gums is an immune or allergic reaction to an antigen. An allergic reaction could be to foods, food additives and flavoring agents, medications including herbal agents and chemicals. Immune reactions are more common, most common being to viral infections. Over the counter antihistamines such as Claritin or Benadryl (diphenhydramine) have helped many patients. Could be many things: It sound to me like he may have had an allergic reaction to something he ate but an exam is absolutely necessary and soon. There are a number of other things that include those symptoms however. See your physician first.
