Contraindication: there is a contraindication between Celexa (citalopram) and bradycardia. Having said that, do not stop your celexa (citalopram) suddenly. Discuss this medication with the doctor who prescribed it. If you do need. To go off of it you need to be taken off slowly to avoid side effects. You and your doctor may decide that you need another antidepressant or to continue on Celexa (citalopram).
