Pain in right upper chest. sharp when deep breath. bilirubin was 3.1, cbc & liver function normal. normal chest x-ray & ultrasound of liver & gb. ??

Hard to say: What you are describing is termed "pleurisy', which is a nonspecific finding describing discomfort caused by a deep breath. Common causes are inflammation of the lining around the heart or lungs.

Blood clot: Could be pulmonary embolism . You may need to get a ct pulmonary angiogram . If that's negative, then could be muscle sprain or rib fracture
