Monitoring OK: So long as the lump is not causing you any problems and not growing, it may be safe to wait and watch. You're young an so long as you don't have a history of immune deficiency or STDs, it might just be a vaginal cyst which will not harm you at your age. I would still pursue routine GYN care though.
