Yes: it is possible that the omeprazole that you're taking is not adequately controlling your reflux, and the symptoms may still be present. If you have been taking the omeprazole for at least two weeks and are not improved, I would contact the doctor who prescribed it and see what the next step is. You should continue antireflux measures also. Good luck.
