No, fair chance: This is a standard technique used by all RE and all Gyn at one time or other. Usually the progestin pills do not shrink cysts, but by causing a second withdrawal ("period") the cysts are often prompted to shrink. let's say the chance it works is about 70%. Good wishes.

Not for sure: the medication supresses ovulation and gives your body time for the cyst to resolve itself. the medication does not shrink the cyst
