Stop on own: Not sure the cause of your diarrhea here, but most certainly not from the delsym (dextromethorphan). Aspartame not known to cause diarrhea either. I would not take Immodium, as if you have a typical viral cause for diarrhea, it will only ultimately prolong the illness you are having.
