Pica: is the medical term for eating unusual things like ice, cornstarch, clay or raw rice compulsively. It is often a sign of iron deficiency anemia. You should be tested for anemia and if found, treated. Usually the compulsion goes away once the anemia is corrected. Thanks for trusting HealthTap!
