A little unusual...: Nope, Teresa, I've never heard that one before. Could it be rebound from overusing decongestants such as Afrin (oxymetazoline) nose spray (or illicit drugs?) You are describing blood vessel congestion which normally wouldn't clear with nose blowing. No, you ought to have rhinoscopy done - a fiberoptic examination of your nose to rule out foreign body or a vascular growth/abnormality. Call an otolaryngologist.
