Saw my neurologist, told him of periodic deja vu, he scheduled eeg but my chart has seizure now listed in diagnosis code. why?

Diagnosis not final: The chart needs to list something. Even a nonspecific diagnosis of deja vu has the same code as a seizure. For some reason the medical system is bent on making a diagnosis at every visit, even if the strategy is to rule the diagnosis out.
