A BI-RADS 4 lesion: is defined as "suspicious", and a biopsy is the usual recommendation for this category of abnormality. 6 month follow up is generally not appropriate. In any case, if you have a new symptom, talk to your doctor about getting evaluated now versus waiting for your appointment.
