Need physician. : Paxil (paroxetine) has to be taper down gradually first. And u have to discuss with your psychiatrist about side effect and benefit of wellbutrin first. It's not what is equivalent dose but most important is how much you needs it and why you needs it . It is not wise to change without physician guidance.

Start at 150: Dosing needs to be individualized. A starting dose Wellbutrin SR is 150 once a day but is generally titrated upwards to effect. May need to taper down Paxil (paroxetine).
