Infection: It sounds like you have some type of infection that needs to be addressed today. Without seeing a picture of the lumps hard to say for sure but you could have a cellulitis which is usually bacterial, possibly a shingles outbreak if they are more like blisters, an infected tooth or even a parotid gland. All of these require intervention as soon as possible to prevent more serious consequences.
